@Squeakums The tripwire rippers allowed me to start the fight at a total of 6 bleed stacks (doubled by hypertension) and maintain it for a very long time. Yes, I was maybe doing a better job of maintaining my health than he was, but those tripwires also allowed me to put out WAY more damage than him from bleeding alone.
Oh, yeah, I felt the fight could have gone either way at that point. I was really starting to feel the pressure on my systems. True fact: I went and boarded my ship afterwards and almost died cause I waited maybe 30 seconds before remembering to hit regenerate.
I've never really felt that intimidated by Scoundrel hp pressure, unfortunately!
Another Omni showdown featuring some fun things like anti-mindcontrol and anti-stripping. Mardu just about recovered his systems with constant fleeing, but relay again is really good and let me keep the pressure on his Wetwiring subsys. I really need to use Wireblock though.
Am I the only Engineer PVPer currently active? That's a shame. Can't learn from anyone but my own fights. I really wanted a perspective other than mine.

I'm still not convinced that this is a real killcon, I think Nec may have been a bit greedy and caught off guard by maladies. But it's a clever way to stay on health prio for longer and sound experimental spirit I'll definitely be giving it a try when I return to pvp.
I simply remember being so unimpressed in the early days when Nanoseers tried this against me in Nano v Nano. But in a matchup with lots of musc affs on you, maladies and the ability to health prio in a health damage meta definitely gives it some potential.

tbh I thought it was a fluke too, but nece isnt the only one I have killed using it. I won against Azlyn in a FFA with it, and also used it to kill a few other people too. I forget who all I used it on. I dont believe its good because of its damage, I think its good because it gives damaged limbs. while having enough damage to force someone to be on hp prio. meaning the damaged limbs never get healed as they dont have a cure time.
