Permanent stat loss or bug?

I got rolled back a level and lost more 1 stat more than I currently gain per level and when I regained the level  the additional stat was not returned to me. Is this intended? Can I recover the lost stat?

    I had the same thing happen a few days ago. Bugged it, but haven't heard anything yet.

    I actually lost one less. It was weird. I gain 7 per level and lost 6.
    Dyslexic(Symbolic Dyslexia and Subtracting-Substitution Dyslexia according to a doctor I had at one point.) and have lost my glasses and lack the ability to pay for a new set.

    Found the underlying bug causing these problems. You will see adjustments in the next 48 hours or so.

    Does the number of stat points gained per level increase as you level?  I've never seen 7 stat points at once (5, with the occasional 6), though I'm not exactly racing to get through levels.

    Yes. The amount you receive increases by 1 every 10 levels.
