Planetary Landings

Forgive me if this was already answered and I'm just not remembering, but will all ships (even the really, really big ones like Progenitors and Thunderbirds) be able to land at ordinary planetside port facilities, or will some ships need to dock in orbit, at stations and such?

You'll dock at stations and then take transports to nearby planets (or nearby stations)
